Commuter StudentsBetween classes, studying, going to work, and your social life, who has time to get an affordable, healthy, well-balanced meal in a convenient time frame? Take a break! Purchase a block or retail plan and you’ll always get to eat what you want, when you want, how you want! How do block dining plans work?Block plans are designed to be affordable and convenient. After signing up for a plan, the meals (swipes) are loaded onto your BGSU identification card. You present your ID at the entrance of The Oaks Dining Center or Carillon Place Dining Center to redeem a swipe. You are then granted access to the dining center and can eat all you would like while you are there. Unused swipes remain on your card until the end of the academic year at which point they will expire. How do retail dining plans work?Retail plans are designed to offer savings and flexibility. After signing up for the plan, retail dollars are added to your BGSU Identification Card. When checking out at any of the BGSU Dining retail locations, you present your card and the amount of your purchase will be dedcuted from the balance of your plan. Retail dollars may also be used at the all you care to eat facilities. The door price will be deducted from your plan at entry.
