Chartwells at Marywood University Dining Services is pleased to present to you our In Any Event Catering Guide.  For your convenience, we have put together frequently requested and popular menus.  Please realize that these menu items are just a sampling of what we can offer and we are more than happy to work with you to develop a catering menu specifically designed to meet your needs.

Catering Guidelines

Catering Around Campus

Chartwells Catering Department at Marywood University is more than happy to work with you to cater your event, no matter where it is on campus.  Please let us know when and where you would like to hold the event.  Nazareth Dining Hall Upper Level can be reserved with the Catering Department. For any other room on campus you will need to make your own reservation using the Event Scheduler or by contacting the respective department.  In addition, please make room arrangements with Physical Plant for all set up, such as chairs and tables, and they will be happy to set the room to your specifications.  All Media needs, such as microphones and podiums, will need to be ordered through I-Tech Services.

Free On Campus Delivery

Free delivery on campus for any event scheduled in advance with a minimum order of $75.  Orders less than $75 will require a $25 delivery charge.

Off-Site Catering

The primary purpose of the Catering Department at Marywood University is to provide outstanding catering services for the Marywood University campus.  If requested, we will be more than happy to work with you if you would like to hold your catered event off campus.  Please contact Dana Perraglia at 570-348-6241 x 2971 for more information.

Billing

A Departmental Charge Number is required when placing your order. For all external catering events, a charge of 50% of the cost is due at the reservation, and the final 50% is due a week in advance. 

Decorations

Catering Services is more than happy to work with you to help plan and decorate for your function and is committed to do whatever it takes to make your event absolutely perfect.

Late Arrivals, Cancellations, and No Shows

In the event your group will be arriving later than scheduled, please notify the Catering Services at ext. 2483 as soon as possible.  All cancellations of food service should be made no less than 24 hours prior to your event.  Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the event are subject to cover expenses incurred by Dining Services.

Disposable/China Service

Basic linen service will be provided for all catered events.  Any specialty linens or colors must be requested in advance.  If additional linen is needed for registration or skirted display tables, you will be billed accordingly.  Please call for details.
