Absolutely. We welcome guests at any time. You may use your Flex Dollars to pay for your guests or you may pay with cash or check.
Why can’t friends use my meal plan or Flex Dollars?
Meal plan meals are not transferable to others. This helps keep the cost of meal plans low. You are welcome to pay for a friend’s meal with your Flex Dollars when you are present. You may not, however, lend your card to someone to buy a meal when you are not present. This helps to ensure that your card and account are protected, as we can not take responsibility for someone using a lost or stolen card.
Yes. The dining halls should be comfortable for everyone to gather and relax while enjoying a meal. To meet health and safety regulations, you are expected to wear proper attire (shirt, shoes, etc.) at all times. Students are also expected to clean up after themselves by returning their trays and garbage to the proper receptacles
The removal of any china plates, silverware, glasses, merchandising props, and food/beverage items (without paying for them) from any dining facility is considered theft of property and is a crime punishable by either disciplinary action through Office of Judicial Affairs at New Hampshire Technical Institute. This policy is strictly enforced in all dining operations!
Theft of food service equipment does more than raise costs, it limits the overall operation of food service. If there are more costs to replace equipment, then there is less money to spend on menu selections.
