How Does the Dining Service Option Work?
There will be a dollar amount deposited into their Q- CARD account based in your dining service option. The Q-CARD is the name of the computerized system, which keeps track of your food dollars. Every time you purchase an item the price is deducted from your total available balance and the remaining balance shows up at the cash register read out. You may also access your current balance at any dining services register. This money allocated each week is based on your average student. If a student is athletic and and a hearty eater and eats all meals on campus as well as late a late night snack then a student could spend $24.00 per day. Your spending can be tracked throughout the semester by checking your balance against the balance posted at the registers in the Café Q and the Bobcat Den.
What Happens to the Dining Service Option Money Left in My Account at the End of the Semester?
Unused declining balance dollars at the end of the fall semester will rollover to the spring semester. However any declining balance dollars left at the end of the spring semester will not be refunded.
