The Pulse on Dining Market Place exclusively at Connecticut Dining Hall


Your Standing Reservations Meal Plan is intended to be used in our all-you-care-to-eat Pulse on Dining Market Place
(PoD located in Connecticut Dining Hall. However, meals can also be used in other dining locations on campus with the
Anywhere Meals program. Just present your student ID to the host or hostess and voilà, your meal is served.

Between classes, studying, going to work, and your social life, who has time to get an affordable, healthy meal in a convenient time frame? Take a break! Use your Standing Reservation to eat what you want, when you want, and how you want!

There are a wide variety of meal plans to fit all different schedules and life styles. Residential Students have until the end of the first week in each semester to change their meal plan. All residence hall students are required to have a meal plan. The SCSU Hoot Loot Card is required to access these student meal plans. Standing Reservation plans can be purchased at any time.

YOUR Choice

Residential Students have until the end of the first week in each semester to change their meal plan. All residence hall students are required to have a meal plan. The SCSU Hoot Loot Card is required to access these student meal plans. 

Resident students may enjoy unlimited access to the PoD Marketplace during regular hours. Meal plan holders must show their card to gain entrance to the dining hall.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is the Guest Meal option?

A. Each Meal Plan comes with a set number of guest meals for the semester. These can be used to treat a friend in Southern's dining community.
 
Q. What is an Anywhere Meal?

A. Each Plan comes with a specified number of weekly Anywhere Meals to be used in any of our retail locations. Each time you use an Anywhere Meal, the meal is subtracted from your weekly Anywhere Meal balance. Anywhere Meals do not carry over from week to week; however, your Anywhere Meals will reset to the specified number in accordance to your meal plan every Monday morning.
 
Standing Reservation Meal plans are non-refundable unless: for students - the student has officially withdrawn from the University. To purchase any of the above meal plans, please contact the University Card Office located in the Wintergreen building at (203) 392-7077.
