Director of Dinning Services 701-355-8122 Mike is originally from a small town in central Wisconsin. Joining Chartwells in 1990 while attending UW-River Falls, Mike continued to develop his career with Chartwells in many different locations across the country. Mike has been the Director for Chartwells in Foodservice, Retail, Bookstores, Employee Stores, Conference Centers, and Summer Youth Camps. Mike enjoys a variety of activities outside of work including reading, computers, family and friends, and spoiling his nephews rotten. Mikes office door is always open so stop in and say “Hi” he would enjoy getting to know you. |

Assistant Director of Dinning Services 701-355-8320 University Dining Hall Born and raised in Western New York I left there fresh out of high school and joined the military to see the world but still have roots there, and in Wisconsin. From a service background I have learned that working hard and educating ones’ self has been, and continues to be, the motivation that keeps me feeling young and energetic. I have a beautiful wife and we have been together for 30 years, wehave three wonderful children and 4 grandchildren. I have been in the Food Service Business for over 30 years and have worked throughout the country in restaurants, hotels, convention facilities, private clubs and fraternal organizations, sales & distribution for the hospitality industry, and for the last 9+ years I have been with Compass Group – Chartwells in Higher Ed. I am new to the Bismark area and come from working at the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point. While there I served as the General Manager of the Debot Dining facility that had a board plan for 3000 student. During that time I was directly involved with the Resident Hall Association, Athletic Department, Arts & Science departments, and the School of Natural Resources. I look forward to being here at the University of Mary and the Bismark area and learning more about the people and traditions of this part of the country. As Father Shea commented to me one afternoon, “She has brought you back to us.” |

Dining Services Manager (UDC) 701-355-8234 University Dining Hall I was born and raised in North Dakota and I come to the University of Mary with over 15 years of management experience. I started with Chartwells in 2006 looking for a career change and have loved every minute with the company. I am looking forward to providing great customer service and meals to the faculty, staff and students here at the University of Mary. In my free time I enjoy the great outdoors, reading and computers. I also enjoy spending time with my wife and my three children whom I love very much. My office door is always open if you want to stop by and say hi. |

Administrative Assistant 701-355-8345 My name is Judy Meidinger, I am the Administrative Assistant for Chartwells at University of Mary. In the past I have owned my own daycare business, worked in food service at the State Capitol and the University of Mary. I am currently working on my business degree through the University of Mary. I have lived in Bismarck all of my life, I am the youngest out of 7 children. I am married for 25 years to Don. We have two children, Elizabeth and Ryan. I also have 2 stepsons, Craig and Jonathan. |
