Selecting a Meal Plan

During the first three days of each semester, you will have the option to choose your meal plan.  To select a plan, please visit the office at Governor's Hall before the end of that initial period and inform them that you will be choosing a plan.  If you do not choose a plan before the end of those three days, you will receive the default 10 Plus $400 Plan.

Dining Dollars   

The Dining Dollars are attached to each meal plan and allow you the flexibility to purchase from the entire menu selection at our other dining locations.  Purchase what you want, when you want... the value can't be beat!  It acts like an automated checking account; each time you make a purchase with your meal card using Dining Dollars, the amount is automatically deducted from your account.

Remember - when use Dining Dollars on campus you save 7.00% by not having to pay the N.C. sales tax.  

 For 2012 - 2013, all plans are priced at $1,618 per semester.

This plan offers the BEST VALUE and great flexibility!  With a membership to the 10 Plus $400, you receive 10 meals per week to use in the Dining Hall and $400 in Declining Balance

With a membership to the 7 Plus $600, you receive 7 meals per week to use in the Dining Hall and $600 in Declining Balance.

With a membership to the Unlimited Plan, you receive unlimited access to the Dining Hall or one meal, which consists of a predetermined bundled menu selection, per meal zone to use in the Highsmith Union Food Court, Overlook Hall, and Wellness Cafe retail locations as well as $25 in Declining Balance – see Retail Meals for the Unlimited Plan.  With unlimited access, eat as many meals as you wish, full meals or snacks anytime of the day in the Dining Hall.

Students on the Unlimited Plan Plus $25 meal plan have unlimited access and therefore may use meals as many times as they wish throughout the day in the Lifeystyle Dining Hall or use one meal per meal zone in retail dining locations.  If the allotted meal in a given meal zone has already been used, students can then use their Declining Balance or pay by cash for additional items.  For details regarding the retail meals with the Unlimited Plan, please review the following brochure for specifics – Retail Meals for the Unlimited Plan Brochure.
