Scot Thomas has worked on campus since July, 2007. Prior to that, he was the Director at the University of North Florida with Chartwells for 7 years. He earned a culinary Arts degree from Palm Beach State College.

Jimmy Gill is from Tulsa, OK and a graduate of Oklahoma State with a B.S. in Restaurant Management. Jimmy joined Chartwells at LSU in February 2007 until May 2010 before transferring to the University of West Florida in May 2010. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Chris Clay joined the University of West Florida Dining Services in 2008 with a strong background in restaurant management. In 2010 he branched out into the role of Catering Manager, learning a new aspect of Dining Services. In 2012 he rejoined the Retail Department, as the Director of Retail Dining.

Jena Lewis started her catering career in 2005, in the West Palm Beach/ Boca Raton area where she has served as a catering captain. She moved to Milton in the fall of 2011 where she served as a supervisor for Chartwells from November 2011 to March 2012, then was promoted to Assistant Catering Manager. Jena coordinates a wide range of on campus and off campus catering events.

Malerie Shelton serves as Dining Services Marketing Manager. Malerie was promoted to her current position after graduating in December 2009 from the University of West Florida with a B.A. in Communications, specializing in public relations. Malerie welcomes any and all participation in any Dining event or promotion held during the academic year, as well as suggestions and comments that will let us know what we can continue to improve on, and what we’re doing right. Chef James Miller lived in Las Vegas, NV for 23 Years. During his time in Las Vegas he worked as a Banquet/Catering Chef at the Stardust Hotel, MGM Grand Corporation and a variety of other hotels and golf courses.

Chef Neale has worked in higher education since 2009. His experience includes Chef of Southern Miss Catering and Athletics as well as Executive Chef of Springhill College in Mobile, Alabama. With more than 13 years in the restaurant industry, Chef Neale graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in 2005. Growing up along the Emerald Coast, he enjoys spending time with family on the beach. Arleen Buscemi is the Office Manager for Chartwells here at University of West Florida. She joined the Chartwells team in 2005, but has been working here at the University of West Florida since 1998. Accounting,personnel administration and cash reconciliation are a few of her responsibilities.
